Turkey pie



Impossibly Easy Turkey Taco Pie

1 lb ground turkey or lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 medium onion (1/2 cup)
1 pkg (1.25oz) taco seasoning miX
1 can chopped green chilies
½ cup Original Bisquick mix

1 c skim milk
2 eggs or ½ c egg substitute
1 medium tomato
½ cup shredded reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese


1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In 10-inch skiller, cook turkey and onion over medium-high heat, stiring occasionally, until turkey is no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with chiles.
2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.
3. Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomato and cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes.
